Reading from Float on April 15th at Independence Branch!

On Monday, April 15th, Nate House will read from his novel, Float, at the Independence Branch of the Free Library of Philadelphia at 6 p.m. as part of the 7th annual Philadelphia Book Festival. The Independence Branch is located at 18 South 7th Street. Float (Aqueous Books 2011) won the Frances Israel Award for fiction. Publisher’s Weekly wrote, “As much prose poem as novel, this is a melodious, eerie wisp of a book.” Short stories of his have appeared in Armchair Shotgun, Apt, Carve, The Pebble Lake Review, Methree, Sententia, and Troika. Columns and articles have appeared in The Philadelphia Tribune, The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Philadelphia Weekly, Roadbike Magazine, American Motorcyclist, The Chicago Tribune, Newsworks.org, The Atlantic City Press, and The Boston Globe.
