Indian Summer

The Fall was passing quickly. Too many meetings, too many papers to grade, and not enough time spent fishing, surfing, writing and taking the dogs on walks to search for birds. And then we get this weekend–temperature in the 70’s, four to six foot waves and offshore winds. It makes the fall stand still, and for two glorious days we can pretend that it is still the summer.
